Mix Voo Doo Jerk Slather with the molasses and rub insides of the chicken halves with the mixture. Keeping the skin as intact as possible, slather more sauce under the skin. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight if possible.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, place chickens skin side up in a shallow roasting pan. Cook for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours. To double check for doneness, pierce the thickest part of the thigh with a fork. The juice that flows should be clear.
