SHYSTER SAUCE
Shyster Beans
• 1 cup Granny Smith apples, peeled and diced
• 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
• 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
• 1 Tbls. butter
• 1-15 oz. can small white beans, un-drained
• 3/4 cup Shyster Sauce
• 2 Tbls. brown sugar
• 1/2 cup applesauce
• salt to taste
Sauté apples, onions and walnuts in butter for about 2 minutes. Add beans, Shyster Sauce, brown sugar, applesauce and salt. Simmer for 15 minutes stirring frequently. Makes 4-1/2 cup servings.
