South of the Border Chile Rub
• 3 Tbls. ground ancho chile
• 2 Tbls. ground chile de arbol
• 2 Tbls. ground chipotle chile
• 2 Tbls. dried oregano, Mexican preferred
• 2 Tbls. onion salt
• 1 Tbls. ground cumin
• 1 Tbls. powdered garlic
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Store any unused rub in a sealed container in the freezer. Yield: approximately 2/3 cup. Heat Scale: Hot
