El's Red Eye
Lots of plump jalapeno peppers, honey and fresh lime juice combine with a healthy splash of gold tequila (that's right, tequila!) to create a hot sauce that sports a little extra kick. As fierce as it is flavorful, El's Red Eye was a "2nd Place" award winner at the 1998 Fiery Food Challenge in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
