PEPPER EXTRACT HOT SAUCES

More than five times hotter than a habanero, pepper extract hot sauces use the same "stuff" that's in self defense sprays.

Interesting factoid: Pure pepper extract (capsaicin) is so powerful that chemists who handle it must work in a filtered "tox room" in full body protection. Said pharmaceutical chemist Lloyd Matheson, who once inhaled some capsaicin accidentally: "It's not toxic, but if you inhale it... you're gonna' wish you were dead."
